Screen Replacement

Distorted Image or Strange Colours
Any display that looks a bit like these images or fits these discriptions - multi colours, strange alphanumeric characters, blank screen, white screen, flickering screen, lines on screen, power light but no display. All these can point to a failed or failing graphics chip.
Dim or Faint Image on Screen (click for larger image)
This is usually caused by a faulty inverter board. This board powers the back light in the laptop screen. It's usually a case of replacing the inverter board. This is a fairly straightforward process and we charge in the region of £80.00 to £90.00 incl for this. However sometimes it's the actual backlight that has failed in the screen and in this case then the screen will need to be replaced.
